I was so excited when I got home from work today!!! Some lucky girl just ordered two pairs of simpledaisy earrings!!
It's so great to come home and see that someone loves simpledaisy as much as I do!!!

After I just finished my previous post my husband walks in from work and I yell "hi" to him.....
I finish up what I am doing here..you know I am not one to rush to the door to greet him...I walk into the kitchen and what is on the table but this fabulous perfume that we had just looked at while out shopping yesterday!! YIPPEE!!!

Just think in the previous post {pre my husband coming home} I am dreaming of someone else's life blah..blah..blah...and ta da...I really should count my blessings and be truly thankful for the fabulous husband that I have!!!

Sometimes....you just need a little something special to really make you stop in your tracks and be thankful for all that you have!!! Thanks sprinkles.....

On a side note: I think you can tell by now that I am a fairly frugal shopper...HOWEVER....perfume is one splurge I am willing to make!! I love a really fabulous perfume...it just makes me feel really happy!! So..go ahead and make one splurge on something you truly love!!!

The weather is really crummy here today...so I can't help but to tinker around! I should be on the treadmill running...BUT I can't seem to make myself!! I hop onto etsy and what do I see??? A guitar strap!! I really...really...really want a guitar...Why I don't know!! In my dream world I think it would be super cool to be Sheryl Crow!! I know...somebody else's life always seams so great on the outside!! Forget that I should be thankful for being me ......I am creative, I am athletic, I have a wonderful husband, I have a great job, I have the best friends, I have fun pets, I have my health, I have a nice home....what more could I want for?????
But instead I am sitting here dreaming of what it would be like to be somebody else...

So true...So true!!

BUT since Thanksgiving is just around the corner...I think we all need to take the time to really look inside ourselves and realize all that we have to be truly thankful for!!

It looks like this outside today....Puts me in the mood for this....

Ok....so what...I did already start decorating for Christmas!! I couldn't help it especially since it was pouring snow outside!! I love the way my house looks when it's decorated for the holidays..so festive and of course so sparkly!! What other time of the year can you get away with glittering everything?? Yes...the gourd, the reindeer and the styrofoam trees are all painted silver and covered in glitter by me!! I just really love glitter!! Plus...it' much more cost effective to decorate that way!!!

Oh and look who's laying patiently by my side while I post this blog entry!!

Aren't dogs great?? I just love her..she is always my faithful companion and always just sits and waits for my next move!!

{more fun with the nephew}

I had my nephew over for the night again and I tell you we hit the ground running!!!
He is soo much fun to have around. I just love how excited he is about everything.
Oh...not the most flattering picture of me..but hey it's reality!! No make-up on and in my PJ's!!

I broke out the paint and the glitter and he went to town!! I love how kids make no rules about their art..they are just so uninhibited and free!!! Really inspiring..
After art..we of course make smores and hot cocoa...it's our little ritual!! Then he's bored again and decides he wants to sweep all the glitter off the floor...I'm like OK I can really go for that and so he begins....
Let me tell you...I have never had my carpet swept so well!! He even swept the dog!! She didn't love it but she tolerated it!! {I wish I loved vacuuming that much} After the vacuuming he decides to decorate the little tree in the sunroom...Now I am a complete control freak about the decorating in the house...but I give in and tell him to go for it!! I can always re-do it after he leaves, right???? Meanwhile...let's see what my husband is doing....

You guessed it...trying his best to tune us out!! But we can't be tuned out!!

Children are so fun and inspiring to spend time with!! I've said it before ... I really give it to all you moms out there!!

Yikes....the weather here in the Midwest has taken a definite turn for the worse!!

Now, it's not only dreary but it's cold and dreary!! So why not do a little window {or rather internet} shopping!!!
