{beachy votive candle holder}

Well Hello there!!

How are you today!?!?

I am sooooo busy with Simple Daisy...I think I am developing a cramp in my hand from all the stamping i'm doing!!! :):):) Yippee!!!

In case you're new....
Simple Daisy is now in

Outer's Banks Trading Group

Caron's Beach House

another cute little shop in New Jersey...just as soon as I get it designed and shipped...

a cute little shop the Glass Float Junkie is starting in Oregon....just as soon as I get it shipped!!!

I am soooooo happy.....but it is a little challenging and my days are definitely not as carefree as they once were!

go to work all day...race home .... chat with all my favorite bloggers....order supplies....and start making all my happy jewelry until about 11 ish at night.....!!

Oh wait...forgot to add...pour a glass of vino in there:):):)

But really....nothing feels as good as moving confidently in the direction of my dreams!
If you have a burning desire for something.....what are YOU waiting for!?!? Time doesn't stop...so get out and there and get busy living the life you imagine:):)

Yes!?!?!?

any other year......the grey skies would more than have me deflated by now....but since I am sooo happy and focused on Simple Daisythey haven't made as big of a dent as they usually do.

Yes....enjoy each day!! It really is a gift! No matter what your worries...what the weather is doing....how mean some people can be.....Each day is an opportunity to look at the bright side of things:):):)

See...just writing this reminds me to look at the bright side of every situation! Everything has something to teach you....you just have to open your eyes to see it!!!

and you know what else helps me be happy in the winter!!!!

CRAFTs....happy beachy crafts!

And since i've been making so much chili lately...I thought it would be a good idea to find a beachy way to use the cans!

I also think these would be cute hung up on my arbor in the summertime!!
You could spell all kinds of things!

Just paint the cans.... and drill holes in them to spell out words!

Took just a second to drill each one.

I don't know....I think they're pretty cute! do you think they are cute or dorky!?!? Oh and you know what else would be cute....to drill the letters and not paint the cans but let them get all rusty and then hang them up!!

So shabby cute!
I might have to throw a few cans in the snow to see if they rust!!!!

Hope you have a very happy, beachy, inspired Sunday!!
I am just anxiously awaiting more supplies so I can get busy!!
Oh and I forgot to tell you .... I ordered a kiln!!!! So I can start making some really cute new fine silver clay jewelry!!

And today's quote comes from the lovely lady, Karen,  who ordered 4 pairs of custom earrings!! She e-mailed me today to say she really loved them and also included this quote to brighten my day!! How sweet is that!?!!??

"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever." Jacques Cousteau

  18. Love the "cans"! I have used these for so many events...the favorite was for a July 4th celebration. I painted the cans, of all sizes, deep blues and reds, punched stars and fireworks into the can...and even decoupaged a few with patriotic fabrics. This was for an event at my church, and I was given a $50 budget for decorating 20+ tables...including table coverings. Thanks to cans and Oriental Trading...I succeeded!
    Love cans!!!
