I love being active and have found riding to be especially fun! Last time we saw deer, heard a Pileated Woodpecker and passed some awesome homes along the Lake Michigan shoreline!
This year I finally broke down and bought a new bike! My old bike was just not made for road riding! Can you believe it....even my bike is blue!! I am blue obsessed!! It's a Cannondale....mostly because my last bike was a Cannondale and I was really happy with it!!
And of course the clothing!!
The possibilities are endless! And there are lots of options in my favorite color!!!
I definately love the socks!! Plus they fit more into my budget!! Right now I get my workout clothes from Walmart!! But I think it's important to buy a few new things here and there for your sport! It helps keep you motivated and looin' good!!!!
The best parts of my new favorite song~
My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, Leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride
If today was your last dayAnd tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?.........
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try,
So live like you'll never live it twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life.......
You know it's never too late
To shoot for the stars,
Regardless of who you are
So do whatever it takes
'cause you can't rewind
A moment in this life
Let nothin' stand in your way
'cause the hands of time
Are never on your side
Nickelback
Get out there and do the things you really love~
OK I am loving your new bike and I'm totally jealous!
ReplyDeleteYea you!! Athletic and fashionable. And you keep track of your time. I'm in awe. I have the ugly black spandex shorts and whatever top I can find to hang low enough to hide my wide hips! Ha.
ReplyDeleteTrue! Love the bike. I think I would want a blue one too, it's ocean blue! Oh, and I could use some more exercising. I'm a "walker", but have been a bit of a slacker lately.
