I would ruffle the world if I could.
and so....when it's snowing and blowing what do I do??
Pour a nice glass of vino and hop on-line to do a little dreaming!

I love ruffled clothes.

It's simple....just add some ruffles:)
I will be teaching myself how to make these pillows! I just need about 3 more hours in the day:)

I have been doing some more crafting that I will be sharing with you.....after my camera battery charges!

I'm off to get a hair cut and highlight....

I love that. I don't know what it is but a fresh hair cut and highlight ALWAYS makes me smile!

{on the upswing}

maybe.....
I have just been in a funk for the past couple of weeks.....

It always starts off with too much time off at the gym....then it moves into making food choices that don't make my body happy...next I just feel like nothing makes me happy.....

I am sure it has a lot to do with the weather...then stir in female hormones and bang....it's a full blown FUNK!

Do you ever have that happen?!?!??

and really....just look at this 2 week forecast...

snow and cold.....snow and cold.....snow and cold.......maybe I need another vacation.
Unfortunately my next break isn't until spring break and by then....with a little luck we will actually be moving towards warmer weather. So I just have to hang tight!

but.....luckily...while at my worst, I checked my e-mail and I had a simpledaisy sell!!!! waaahooo! That made me feel really super happy! I really love to make jewelry and will be doing a give-away before too long!So stay tuned! And I promise to get a little happier!
I hope she's happy with her purchase: Next...I got my butt back to the gym and that made me feel much better!

Then I........

one..did a little retail therapy and bought a purse
two...and some shoes
three....bought some new inspirational books {I always do that when I start to make poor eating choices}
four....did a little craft
five...drank some vino {always makes me feel a little better}
six....and bought myself some happy little flowers...

ahhhh....Now I am starting to feel a wee bit better:)
It's not easy getting through a Midwestern winter and a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do:)
I am finally on the upswing {I think} but it's just so hard when you get in those darn funks!
I wish we could move....but my husband likes living here and I like him....so here we stay!!

Hey...hi there and happy hump day!

I am just so grouchy I could scream:(

I think it's the perfect trifecta of things that are making me so darn grumpy......

SNOW.....COLD.... & the monthly girlie dip in Hormones!!! TMI...I know...but hey you know I like to keep it real here:)

Anywho....I know you don't come here to be depressed...so I did what any girl in a grouchy mood would do...

I poured a glass of vino, opened a bag of dark chocolate, stoked a fire {to warm up} and did a little on-line window shopping!!!

So...OK....now i'm starting to get a little happier:)

First...you have just got to try this chocolate!! It is the BEST I have ever had!! Maybe I should write them to see if they'd like to send me some for a give-away on simpledaisy:)

By now you know I totally purchase my vino based on the label and really isn't always her fault!!!

I know it is my fault that there's never any $$$$$ in checking! haha.....

Now....what to wear~~~~

I love the bohemian style but not to messy and I love to be somewhat frugal....

soooooo....enter the $20 Old Navy Dress.... I love the dress....it's simple and white....what more could you ask for! It it definitely on my list of spring purchases....but most likely with the 2 for $5 flip flops and not with what I am about to show you:)

I think it would completely fabulous with these.....comfortable...worn in and just fabulous!

and this....Both are from Anthropolgie....one of my favorite shops....

but since I am a teacher and we all know they don't make that much $$$$$ I must keep dreaming and buying the 2 for $5 flip flops:)

OR maybe I should take the suggestion of Maya at Completely Coastal and go into the wine business:) how fun...

Or I should write a book....surely it would pay more than teaching!! haha!!

Ok...back to the outfit....

I would then keep it super simple and wear this jewelry,..... you just can't go wrong with understated sterling silver jewelry!!!

Again...from another shop I merely dream about.....Sundance!! Their jewelry ROCKS!
