{crafty spaces & collections}

Well Hello there!!!
Happy Humpday to you:):)
The weather has been picture perfect in these parts and I couldn't be any happier if I tried!!!
Ok...well really...work has been SUPER stressful...but i'm not gonna let it bring me down:):):)
How have you been??????

Do you save things or collect things!?!?!?
I know I am a sucker for saving my favorite sources of inspiration!
Who doesn't love Cottage Living....
I am sooo glad I saved my copies!! I can only dream that one day that magazine will return in all it's glory!!
I also save every single Coastal Living....but I forgot to photograph them:)
What are your favorite sources of inspiration!?!?!?
Well....Good thing I have a craft room that's all my own! That's where I store all of my collections of magazines:):)
I absolutely love being in my craft room!! Makes me so happy in there!
I am not sure my husband would be so happy if I used that much turquoise in our whole house:):)
And this is the room where the magic happens!!
I create my jewelry in there as well as ship it!!
I am trying my VERY BEST to be organzed.....a skill that I have never excelled at:):):)

One of these days....I am going to run out of room to store all of my creations!!! See....my wall is already almost filled! I think I need to do more give-aways or something!!!!

I'd love to hear about your crafty space!! Maybe you can even share a photo on my facebook page!! We can all get inspired by each other:):)
Hope you have a happy rest of your week!!!!

  1. I'm jealous of your room! Love the desk and it reminds me that I STILL need a larger one.

  2. I love your craft room it's so bright and cheerful and I'm sure it inspires your creative juices just being in there!

I have lots and lots of issues of Country Home Magazine. I lived for that thing to show up each month in my mailbox and since they don't come out as often...or not at all for awhile there, I treasure them all the more!

Check out Cottage Style Magazine, I was at some of their photo shoots recently and am working on a few stories for them and the houses are wonderful!

  3. Such a beautiful space! i love all the turquoise! My space is all my own too. We created it in the "attic" above our garage, a bonus room I guess it would be called. It is big and I love it but I am not that organized! And I share it with a 4 year old and his trucks, trains and cars!
I just downsized my catalog inspirations, but I keep the ones that are my favorites and have the most ideas that I love!

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend to unwind and relax!

  4. Lucky you, such a pretty space. Exactly what I'd expect... (simple, pretty, fresh... & turquoise). At the moment my creative space is just a big old mess.

  6. Such a cheerful...and TURQUOISE...space! It's lovely.

Right now, my workspace is a disaster!!! I have canvasses in stages of completion in every space there is, paints and brushes covering my worktable, and my inspiration board overflowing with sketches and ideas. Once I get through the show on Saturday, the office/studio gets emptied and reorganized. (I work best in chaos...who knows why!)

  8. My crafty space in Florida is our lanai (dining room); in Iowa, it's the kitchen island. And, sometimes it's Room 101 at our church where I volunteer as a quilt block cutter for the quilts we make for Lutheran World Relief. Gotta find your fun wherever you can :)

  10. Oh my goodness, I love your craft room. The room that is to be my craft room is kinda in limbo right now. Hopefully one day it will be as inviting as yours.

Two peas in a pod. You should see my collection of magazines. To many to mention. My prized collection is MEHC. I have every issue, and tell my sister and my friends, "their more than welcome to look, it just has to be at my house!" lol

  11. Hi, my name is Kamichia & I am also a hoarder of magazines!!!! :) I save all of my Sunset magazines, Coastal Living, Clean Eating, Oxygen, & any catalog (Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel) that I find inspiration in. It's getting to be a problem!!! But there are so many great things in them that I can't let them go just yet! :) Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Girl, you are WAY more organized than me! You should see my spare room. It's filled with glass floats. Although, they are somewhat organized.

Love your quote. I'm posting it on FB.

  15. LOL! We're cut from the same fabric, girl! I've got PB catalogs from waaay back because I love the photos of the rooms. I've saved almost every Cottage Living and Country Home mag I ever received, and I MISS THEM BOTH! And of course, I can't live without my Coastal Living mag. It's no wonder that you're inspired by your craft room. It's just fantastic! Doesn't it feel good to be organized? lol!

I think you should sell some of those adorable signs - they are so C.U.T.E.!!!

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Random question: How did you add that colored block of text to the side of your pictures? Photoshop?
