{Fresh Friday}

Well Hello!!!
How are you on this fine Friday!?!?!

I was thankful to enjoy a day or two of sunshine!!! It's amazing just hwo much you appreciate the sunshine when you don't get to see it for months on end:)

I am just so ready for warm spring days filled with sunshine and happiness! It's coming....
I think winter in the mid-west really tests one's endurance.
Do you have what it takes to keep yourself chipper when it's dark and dreary for weeks on end!?!?!
hmmmmmm.......most days I don't......that's why I spend my winter days creating happy things!!!

and i'd be lying if I didn't tell you that I also spend them dreaming of spring!!!
Don't you just L*O*V*E the last day of the work week!! Makes me more than happy! I love it because I know I get to spend even more time in my happy little studio just creating the day away!!!

Guess what....i've been a little busy and so I didn't get around to making anything super exciting to tell you about!

This week it was all about the take-out foods!!

One of my favorite things to get at the grocery store is.....

It's tastey and makes me soooo happy!
Pair it with a glass of vino and you're all set for the evening:)

And since I am spending my time dreaming of spring....I thought i'd do a simple little project to make me happy until spring flowers show their pretty little faces!

By now you know I am a daisy kind of girl!!!!!

they are by far my favorite flower.

Simple Daisy
pretty.simple.fresh.

I think daisies are like little rays of sunshine! Always smiling and happy:)

And really.....can you think of better way to reduce, reuse and recycle!?!?!!?!?

The bottles I used are beer bottles.....thanks to my husband and his beer habit! I am a wine kind of girl and he's a beer kind of guy!

But you could use any kind of bottles that you might have on hand!

They make me so happy! Shabby happy:)

And this project is practically FREE!!!! wooooohoooooo:)

You could use these sweet little bottles just about anywhere you'd please!!!!

And if you're getting married anytime soon or throwing any kind of a party.....they would make the most rustic chic, cute table decorations!

They are even cute on my bedside table!!! Who doesn't love to wake up to fresh flowers!!!
Pure bliss:)

Now I just can't wait until I also have the windows open just enough to hear the birds singing their glorious morning songs first thing in the morning!

It really is the simplest of things that make my soul sing!

What are the simplest of things that make your soul sing!!!!!!

Hope you have a super fantastic....inspired weekend:)

  19. When I was married (about a 100 years ago) I carried daisies and white roses, the girls all carried daisies and most of my gifts had some sort of daisy design. The curtains I made for our first home also had a daisy pattern. Yep, you could say I love the simple daisy thing, then and now!

I too am a warm weather friend. Summer is actually my favorite, so Spring is always a welcomed prelude to the hot times :) XO, Kelly
