It's almost the weekend....yippee:)
It's been snowing...snowing...snowing here this week!
and cold!
So you know what that put in the mood for!?!?!?
Hot Cocoa!!
I love hot cocoa.
I love it so much i've been on a hot cocoa binge lately:)
I stop every morning, at a local gas station, on my way to work to get a hot cocoa mixed with hazelnut coffee!!!
Yum-O!
To me hot cocoa is just one of the best things in life....well amost as good as vino....but not quite!
the chocolate peppermint spoon.
d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s.
and so very simple to make.
microwave white chocolate chips
crush some candy canes
dip the spoons in the chocolate and then into the crushed candy canes
cool and then ENJOY!
Pure bliss......
What's you favorite wintertime treat!?!?!
Oh and remember that little table I made this summer??
Well I just cleared a litle snow off of it and used it for this very festive hot cocoa display:)
And guess what else!!?!
I have been very busy working on new Simple Daisy designs!!!
I love...love...love them and hope you do too!!!
I finally feel like Simple Daisy {and myself} are headed in the right direction!
I am starting to see the overall vision:)
Simple Daisy has been such a work in progress and still very much is....but I definitely feel that I am on the right path now:)
I even have an Office Manager {aka. my best friend}. She's working hard to whip the behind the scenes filing, billing, paperwork kinds of thing into shape! I will be the first to admit.....that......organizing is NOT my strength! Good thing it's what she excels at!
and you know what else...in case I haven't said thank you lately...
thank you....for all of your support and encouragement as I work hard to follow my bliss! I appreciate each and every one of you.
I know I have leaned on more than one of you through e-mails, etc......thank you for always taking the time to answer all of my questions or to give me a kind pep talk! I keep moving forward because of you! And you know...I might have a few more questions:) So be prepared!! heehee
Really .... we all motivate each other...now don't we!
I always love to hear what you say....and I really value your opinions:)
Oh and the new blog button.....
Feel free to add it to your lovely blog:)
And the new shop header!
Yeah...I am just loving how it's all starting to shape up:):)
I love your handstamped creations too...
ReplyDeleteabsolutely LOVE hot chocolate and your peppermint chocolate spoon is a great idea for a simple gift!!!...
Your blog and jewelry colors and feel remind me of Bermuda and St. John, two of my favorite places in the world, and I know if you haven't been, you'de find so much inspiration there too.
Your pieces are just gorgeous! I am so happy that you are finding your place and you shop is beginning to look like what you have envisioned!
ReplyDeleteLove the cocoa too and thanks for the peppermint spoon tute! YUM!!

Chocolate peppermint spoons? I have to have one. Or 12. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI don't like winter, but if it looked like that here, I might change my mind (maybe). As always, gorgeous pictures and I love your creativity!
ReplyDeleteIt's not even warm where it is supposed to be warm! We are waking up to the 30's and we are in central Florida! Brrr. I think I'll have some hot cocoa!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had any snow yet but it's coming. This weekend actually. :( But I think I am going to curl up in front of the fireplace with a cup of cocoa and watch some xmas movies.
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
And I LOVE the new necklaces.
Such creative pieces of jewelry.I enjoyed your blog this morning with a cup of coffee.i have to admit that cup of hot chocolate you made looked yummy. The insert you have by Mark Victor Hansen made the day for me.I needed that.Thank-you for sharing that as also I appreciate you stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.

Oh my! I think I need to put that Drift necklace on my Christmas list. I hope you'll be making more, they're gonna sell like hot cakes!
ReplyDeleteGreat spoon idea...I'll be making those with my kids. What kind of spoon is that and where did you get it? Maybe you can wrap some up and sell them too. They would make nice stocking stuffers or look cute wrapped with ribbon on a package.
I'm putting your button on my blog after this comment.
Have a great day! :)
ooh!! yummy! I need some hot chocolate right now!...
ReplyDeletelove your blog! so pretty and fresh... just like the description!! :)

Those spoons would be a blast to make with my little guy. What a fun wintery thing to do together. Hot chocolate is the best, it just warms you from the inside out!
ReplyDeleteThe hand stamped stuff is great! I love the direction you are taking : )
YUM - can't wait to try those white chocolate peppermint spoons. My mouth is watering!
ReplyDeleteHeather,
ReplyDeleteCould you do me a huge favor and send an email to my husband letting him know you know exactly what I want for Christmas. I'd love one of your beachy stamped necklaces with each of my kids names on a seperate tag. Not sure what you would charge...you can work that out with him! HA! His email is ghwild5@verizon.net and his name is Greg.
Thanks ever so much!
Hugs,
Heather
I had to leave for a minute and add your new Etsy button to my sidebar. I LOVE the direction you've gone! Your stamped collection is the BEST by far.
ReplyDeleteI also love the peppermint spoons. My daughter came home with a 5 lb. container of Swiss Miss, so I'll have to send her back out for candy canes. The only thing better I can think of is when I had Chocolate Mamas in Jackson Hole, Wyoming — hot cocoa with peppermint schnapps — yummy!

I love seeing your photos of snow on the beach - that's so surreal for me. I wish it would snow here more... last year it snowed barely two inches here and you would have thought the world was ending...lol. Power out, everything closed, people sliding all over the roads... :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm hosting my first ever blog giveaway - please come visit! http://www.charlestongirlblog.com It's a very beachy type prize, so I think you'd like it!
